The modularly designed Cabin Logs Deep Dive and terrace tents were constructed using recycled poplar wood, which makes for a clean, minimalist and modern approach to sustainability. Tourist accommodation for vulnerable people

With an apartment and a hostel in Podcerkev as well as a camp at the Veliki Obrh water source, the Institute for Cultural Integration and Socialisation of Social Groups in Stari trg pri Ložu offers tourist accommodation for everyone, with a focus on vulnerable groups. The apartment and hostel in Podcerkev have quite a few beds: the former has 12 beds with two additional ones, and the latter has 29 beds. The hostel, in addition to the reception desk, dining room and living area, also encompasses a library and a gallery which are intended to house literary and art projects, respectively. The hostel wants to bring visitors closer to the beauty of nature, combined with fun and creativity, through tourist packages for the Notranjska long-distance trail (or Notranjska trasverzala in Slovenian), a blood-pumping experience for families, a cycling adventure for two, active art holidays, active fishing holidays, a forest hiking adventure for families, a cycling adventure for families, a trip on the river of seven names, and winter mischief for families. In addition to a wide range of tourist packages, the hostel also offers hiking, cycling, recreation and team building, photo shoot, and fishing in the Snežnik forests. Plus, there’s a new activity available – cycling in the Notranjska region – which is organised exclusively for people with disabilities as part of accessible tourism.

School boarding house or Radenci Hostel

Hostel Radenci and the school boarding house are part of the Secondary School for Hospitality and Tourism Radenci. Visitors can choose between 60 double rooms with shared bathrooms for eight to twelve guests. They can also choose breakfast, snack, lunch and dinner. Groups can benefit from various discounts at the hostel. The school boarding house has a multimedia classroom, a multipurpose hall for cultural events, a gym and an outdoor playground. It’s possible to rent the sports hall next to the secondary school or visit the swimming pool, which is located just five minutes from the Radenci Hostel. Teachers and students can assist at various activities, such as rafting on the Mura, the tour of Radenska and Radenci Health Resort, or the hike along Atila’s trail and between the thermal springs. The town of Radenci is famous for its numerous mineral and thermal springs that can be found in abundance along the Mura. 45 have been counted in Slovenia and Austria. Karl Henn discovered these srpings of therapeutic mineral water in the 19th century and began filling the first clay bottles in 1869. Spa tourism which included the Radenska mineral water, something the town of Radenci is famous for, started gaining prominence a few years later. Hostel Pod Skalo

The traditional family town house in Kamnik has been transformed into a modern tourist accommodation run by Pod Skalo, a family company. The entire building encompasses a double room with a private bathroom, a suite with a terrace and a private garden for 2–6 people, a small twin room with a private bathroom, a large room with six beds, two bathrooms and separate toilets, a triple room with a private bathroom, a single room with a private bathroom, and a pub with a large terrace that was once an agricultural building. Hostel Pod Skalo offers breakfast, which includes food from local producers. There’s also a kitchen available if you want to make small meals, and there’s a common area located on the ground floor of the Pod Skalo house. The hostel’s lively pub, which has a large parking area, has a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. It attracts guests in autumn and winter when concerts and promo evenings are organised. The hostel also organises a guided beer and snack tasting when necessary. The staff at Pod Skalo – B&B, Hostel and Pub in Kamnik are eagerly awaiting guests who would like to explore the historical town.

Hiking between the Karst and the Coast

The Ociski Raj Hostel accommodation in the small town of Ocizla in the Karst region has a new offer for visitors – four rooms which can accommodate a varying number of guests. You can choose between the Jupi double room with an extra bed, if necessary, the Cockta quad room, two rooms – Radenska and Pingo – both with six beds, and the Jelšanka room with eight beds. Both private rooms and dorms offer access to the common areas, such as the kitchen and bathroom. Booking a room or a bed at the Ociski Raj Hostel isn’t only cheap, you can also book breakfast.
