The Museum of Post and Telecommunications, that is one of the locations of Technical museum of Slovenia, was opened in 2008 in Polhov Gradec Castle (DormouseCastle). The museum contains collections on the history of postal services and the development of telecommunications, an exhibition The Beginnings of Mobile Telephony in Slovenia, a telephone and teleprinter exchange, and Ziva's Corner, which is aimed at the youngest museum visitors. Through a selection of games (Find the Pair, Post Through Time) and various workshops (making of a post horn, postal worker’s cap, stamps etc.) the young visitor will be familiarised with the history of post and telecommunications.
