Welcome to my profile, where you can read a little bit about me. I identify as an enthusiastic knowledge seeker and I work as an academic researcher, but at heart I’m a recreational athlete and a lover of travel and adventure.
After finishing secondary school, I continued my education at the University of Primorska’s Faculty of Tourism Studies – Turistica, where I began working as research assistant after completing my master’s degree. At the same time, I am pursuing a second master’s degree in biopsychology. Through numerous extracurricular activities and projects, I have gained experience both abroad and in Slovenia. I am currently a member of the HI Youth Panel, an international committee of Hostelling International, where I help to develop initiatives in areas relating to the development of youth and sustainable tourism. My previous work with HI Slovenia also included hosting the travel series Popotniški snep.
In addition to my past handball career, I am a recreational runner, which I take full advantage of when exploring places from a different perspective. I am passionate about history, geography, architecture, and, last but not least, psychology.
I enjoy travelling in various ways, both abroad and within my home country. I admire the diversity of Slovenia, which I explore far and wide in my free time – from hikes in the mountains and nature to visits to small villages, interesting museums, events, and discovering unique stories …
